In this original Lewis Harrison piece, I blend jazz piano, laid-back drums and bass, and a spoken word poem delivered in my own Teesside (North East England) accent.
The vibe is dark, introspective, and quietly beautiful — supporting a rap that explores how impenetrable mysteries like the paradox of infinity and nothingness can be strangely unsettling and yet comforting too if we accept the mystery. The vibe is loungey and gentle, providing a safe space to support deep introspection without getting heavy!
This is my first time ever sharing a rap performance of my poetry publicly. It’s a little bit dark and philosophical, and performed in my own unique style.
