In this video I play the 1st movement of the wonderful Mozart K310 sonata in A minor, full of Sturm und Drang, with its driving rhythmic figures and contrasting dynamics. The 1795 Dohnai piano from Pianoteq’s Kremsegg collection gives even more drama and energy to this exciting, powerful piece.
Dear Phil, I read your move to digital pianos. In building my setup gradually over time (and cost!), I intend to ultimately connect up a good modelled (or sampled..more on that later) software to a good controller/keyboard. I will not compromise quality..so..your suggestion on the right piano?given the eventual goal of connecting to software(mac) rather than relying on internally bundled samples with poor build quality..
Sorry I missed your question… I’m a big Pianoteq fan so I would always recommend that and I like the PHA50 Roland action best. But that’s just my personal, subjective taste. I always advise people to try things out and choose what feels right for them.
